Hugo Franca

The world is weary of the clean lines and sharp finish of mass produced modernism and so designers are creating a new genre of rough-hewn furniture solid tangible objects that are like they are anchors in times of flux and disposables. These works are all by Hugo Franca who uses Brazilian hard woods. Hugo Franca work exclusively with fallen and dead trees dating 1000 years and from old canoes from the Pataxo Indian tribes. (Thanks)
