"Using sand as my design tool, I created a series of outdoor benches, made of sand and coated with rubber. The idea is to create these pieces of furniture on the spot, giving them the characteristics of the environment where they are built, in this way being able to integrate them into their surroundings, event to create extensions for already existing structures. The technique of shaping these benches is very similar to making a sand castle, with the difference that once I reach the desired shape I contain it by coating it with rubber. This allows for flexibility and comfort. The shape will change with use but it's function will remain."
