John Hart

John Hart has just graduated in HND furniture from Adam Smith College his chair is called 'The Hatter' and is meant to be something you would see at the Mad Hatters tea party.
" ... it s  smooth and rough at the same time. It is a one of a kind chair influenced by shapes of the unprocessed wood that it is made from. I like the fantasy world of make believe, the real world is horrid, so a fairytale chair was what I set out to achieve."
"My favourite designer while I was studying at Adam Smith was Carlo Mollino - his sleek shapes based on human form was amazing ....so natural curves made me wide eyed when embarking on design .. BUT I love Rustic style too - hence the final shape of my chair." John Hart
