Christorpher Kurtz

 

Christopher Kurtz is a sculptor turned furniture maker, turned sculptor, his working practise swings between the the frivolous impracticality of sculpture balanced by the functionality of furniture.
Through both genre's of work you can see a love of fluid line, like calligraphy in the air.



"I am interested in moments where the handmade is replaced by production and when the pendulum swings back to the handmade due to needs that production can not meet." Christopher Kurtz

    It really very extra ordinary design for the chair. It look so beautiful with different wood designs. Christopher kurtz furniture impracticality of sculpture furniture designs.
