I love the seesaw power struggle that this chair represents. "Conflict Chair" was made by Israeli designer
Aviad Gil from olive wood (the olive being a symbol of peace). The olive trees that were
used to construct this chair were uprooted during the construction of
"The Conflict Wall" that separates Israel and Palestine.
