Frank O. Gehry (b. 1929 -) was trained in Urban Design and works primarily as an architect, but he has always sought to integrate his architecture within the context of the cities where he lived and the current culture including cutting edge art and sculpture. When designing though embracing CAD/CAM manufacturing programs, he still likes to begin his designs by sketching and playing with wood and Styrofoam.
