I can't post about Alexander Calder's chairs and not post some of his mobiles, though I realise It isn't 'furniture' it is design, balance and beauty. Alexander Calder invented the 'mobile' in 1931. Mobile was the name applied to it by Marcel Duchamp it is a form of kinetic sculpture.
