I found the work of Carolien Laro today through Amy Cunningham's pinterest. Carolien has made her mark on furniture design with her Spring Wood designs. Carolien searched for the limits of wood( for over 600 hours) with great success. She wanted to bring two contradictions of wood together: rigidity and flexibility inspired by the concept of a party garland in mind.
