Fabien Cappello's Christmas Tree Furniture

 

An unseasonal post I know, but Fabien Cappello is exhibiting his Christmas Tree Project as part of the Saatchi Galleries Collect 2012.
"There are 1.8 millions christmas trees in the streets of London in January. I took advantage of this huge amount of wood shipped every year in the city and investigate the finite economy of Christmas trees drawing on this local resource to create furniture from the discarded wood." Fabien Cappello
It is a terrible waste and yet a wonderful oppurtunity.
