Claire Thomson

A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, Claire Thompson has taught on Furniture and Design Courses at Adam Smith College for the past nine years.
As a lecturer it is hard to find time, energy and creative head space to make your own work, but this year Claire has been working hard at making her own creative pieces. This is her latest design, a cheese bowl carved from walnut and yew with inlays of oak and elm burr.
