Uist Corrigan

"Working at the moment on a series of works based around the theme of foraging inspired by the Richard Mabey book, ‘Food For Free’
I am currently making a series of tools that can be used to find and gather your own food."
Uist Corrigan

Uist Corrigan has just graduated in Fine Art from Duncan and Jordanstone College of Art, I loved Uist's show as it had a joy in making and crafting useful objects, a recognition of the labor of love or survival. As part of his degree show he displayed photgraphs of an 8 day journey to Iona on the west coast using the skills and the tools he made during his final year to get there.
