Tim Lewis

During a week of unprecedented world temperatures, oceans like baths and  hideous fires destroying beautiful Greek Islands the haunting automata of Tim Lewis seems unbearably poignant.  Especially with its regal pangolin striking the doomsday triangle atop an upturned dead Christmas tree. . .  humanity what have you done and what are you doing?

Juno Jeon I

Pull me to life is the result of Juno's research into movement, resulting in a cabinet that looks like you are ruffling it's feathers when you open it.

"This drawer has special skin. When the drawer is closed, it is just a normal drawer with fancy skin. However, when the drawer is pulled, the skin slowly and gradually changes the color from back to front. It seems like the drawer is reacting to outer stimulus as if it is an animal. When the drawer is pushed back, the drawer changes the skin color again as if it falls asleep again." Juno Jeon

John Edmark

John Edmark has an engineers inagination that I like to think looks like one of Echers most complicated maze like works. His precision laser cut designs are quite incredible, their kinetic qualities are stunning and amazing.

Wouter Scheublin II

This is a walking bookcase, also by Wouter Scheublin.

Wouter Scheublin

The fantastic walking table by Wouter Scheublin "The walking table is a carefully crafted piece of furniture that shows the beauty of mechanics. When pushed, the table comes to life and mimics a natural walking motion, perplexing our perception of the ordinary static piece of furniture." You can see it in action here. (Thank you)
