Werner Neumann

Werner Neumann's wonderful wonky birchwood furniture.
"I love the lightness of form and life of materials. I admire people who dare to embark on new paths and can touch you through their enthusiasm and courage. In my own collection I also look forward to the challenge of the unknown, new materials, different shapes, but always in combination with functionality." Werner Neumann

Woodism

Woodism is a group of Finnish designers who's collection consists of unique items,
custom-made products and furniture produced in small series from garden and park trees that are diseased and not fit for lumber. allows for a versatile use of wood.
In this use of local sustainable timber a twig, a crack, a special graining or
edge of the bark can be a source of inspiration for design. This responce to the unique nature of the timber allows the character of each tree to be reflected in the result, giving rise to the
unique nature of the objects. This cuckoo clock is designed by Tapio Anttila
