Aamu Song

This 'Balloon Babushka' is designed by Aamu Song of COMPANY and manufactured in Semenov, Russia.

All of the products in SALAKAUPPA are designed by Aamu Song  and Johan Olin of COMPANY and are the result of their traveling research to very exciting, yet old fashioned, factories around Finland and their neighbors around the world. COMPANY's  works with them designing products that respond to each factory's story and function. The toys that Aamu has designed working with a babushka factory in Semenov are just delightful.

The charming toy 'Cheesy' with mice that you can push into different holes in the cheese, designed by Lukas Avenas and Adelė Butėnaitė two young product designers based in Lithuania.

Monster!

"Most of us are still kids inside, which stop at the Toy Section in the shops, like to jump on the trampoline and still remember monsters from their childhood.
This project is devoted to the Child inside us. It gives a chance to take a look at fears with a smile and to have a ride on them" 

Monster is a collaborative project between product designers Constantine Bolimond  and Design Dubrovsky it has great styling and though very simple this is enhanced by graphic use of colour.
