Katja Schenker

Katja Schenker's public sculpture in Sitterwerk was inspired by Nougat. To make it Katja excavated a large hole in the earth and the made a large concrete cake adding firesand, lime, kaolin, bitumen, brass, copper, hay, bamboo, coconut, chalk, pumice, cork and mussels amongst other 'ingredients'. Once the mix hardened Katja Schenker cut it into a four sided cube with a diamond saw. (thanks)
