I am going to feature some of the Scottish furniture makers that will be exhibiting as part of the annual  Scottish Furniture Makers show at the Lighthouse, Glasgow from the 5th-21st of October 2012. This is the work of Ray Beverly who has his workshop on the Isle of Bute and makes bespoke furniture. Here are two of his chairs  crafted in hardwood and inspired by the Bute landscape and true to the character of the timber itself.
