"The design for my chair came from the 7 foot long piece of straight grain elm and its natural form. The spine is 14mm pine dowels and the legs and arms are yew.
I like to use the natural shape,colour and flaws in the woods I use when possible and my designs though planned evolve naturally during construction." Rory McCalum
