Samuel Reis

Samuel Reis's pine collection uses the form and component elements of the pine tree, taking advantage of the natural curve of the trunks and the needles. The curved forms offer great strength and performance due to the integrity of the fibre. Samuel Reis graduated in product design last summer from ESAD. Thank you

Hamajima Takuya

Hamajima Takuya's designs have a industrial quality with their mix of metal and timber yet they also resemble very fine mechanical objects like clocks.
" . . . my intention in this work is not only about function or efficiency, but more about the work connecting the individual with the world in a harmonic relationship." Hamajima Takuya

Alexandre Reignier

Alexandre Reignier is a self taught designer with a love of wood and varied design genres. Alexandre attaches alot of importance on a high level of finish, mixing materials to take advantage of all there different qualities. When I first saw this stool I thought it was made with a clear resin base so that it was almost floating which I really liked as a contrast with the oak slats

Filip Gordon Frank & Iva Jerkovic

Styx is a wooden barstool that comes in three different versions. It is made in solid oak and beech the seat, back legs and a foot rest visually create one part of a chair while front legs and back rest the other, creating an illusion of a chair being made of two different interlocked pieces.
All constructive components are carefully designed in such a manner to make an integral part of a chair depriving it of any superfluous elements designed by Filip Gordon Frank and Iva Jerkovic.

Lina Marie Koppen II

This unique stool design is more like a toy or a puppet but I love the way Lina Marie Koppen plays with different ideas in her designs and in these the anthropomorphism of this furnitures feelings.

"These stools question the act of sitting, we need to balance while sitting down. Some of those stools need some proper tightening before usage. Otherwise they only will be laying stretched out on the ground, relaxing from all the exhausting carrying." Lina Marie Koppen
