Daniele Papuli

Tree rings have sparked the imagination of Daniele Papuli in his range of 'Cartodendri' stools that are formed from tightly bound magazines.
"CARTOdendrometrìa is the formation and classification of new morphological designs, meant for desks or stalls, and built as ring-section lamellar volumes, inlaid with various types of polychrome lightweight papers chosen for their peculiar characteristics.
From newspapers - the desks made with Corriere della Sera strips chosen for their colouring since 2007 - to lightweight coloured papers - black for the outside of the stalls - to multicoloured sections."
