Architecture on a furniture scale by Ted Lott. Ted Lott studied woodworking and furniture design at Maine College of Art but he is using these skills in a more esoteric way in these fantastical domestic 'furniture' scale, architectural compositions.
"When viewing woodworking in the context of objects made with wood; housing, particularly stick frame construction, emerges as possibly the most widespread use of the material throughout the modern world. Richard Greaves Anarchitecture

Richard Greaves's chaotic bristling architectural creations are magical totems of tree houses, having the allure of forbidden dereliction and the hand crafting of necessity and fun.

Wood, Light and Fire

Utilizing scrap wood from a building site architects Haugen/ Zohar constructed this, beautiful vision of heat and light, an the outdoor fireplace. Inspired by Norwegian turf huts, it is made from naturally impregnated core of pine and spaced with oak separators. It is in a public park for fires, playing and storytelling.

Beanstalk Project

Four days to 'grow' a beanstalk.

A group of international students attending a SESAM10 workshop produced this amazing work as a response to a construction brief using repeat, folded, cardboard and paper modules to build structures. (source Dudecraft).

Mafoomby, A Cardboard Accoustic Space

Designed by Architects Martti Kalliala and Esa Ruskeepaa, Mafoomby is an award winning cardboard space for listening to music, like the yeshop, it has a wonderful ergonomic, organic form. (images from my design fix)
